Email updates privacy
Updated 2026
This notice covers the optional Glass In Action email updates list. Igal Kaptsan manages this list. You do not need an account or a purchase to sign up.
What the form stores
When you enter your email address and agree to receive updates, the form stores your email address and a record of your consent, including its date and wording version. A protected removal token lets you remove your registration. This list is separate from the old shop notification list.
How the information is used
Your address is used for occasional updates about my work and new stories. It is not sold or added to the shop list. Signing up does not send an automatic welcome or confirmation email.
Storage and service providers
On the public site, registrations are stored using Netlify, the site's hosting provider. The signup function does not send your address to an email delivery service. Hosting and security services may process technical request information when you access the site. This notice does not cover the separate practices of linked sites or embedded video providers.
Removing your registration
Use the removal option shown after registration or retain the private management link provided to you. Do not share that link: it permits removal of your registration. You can also request removal or ask about your stored information by emailing glassinaction@gmail.com. Registration records are kept until removed. Browser storage holds the removal credential for your convenience; clearing it does not remove the server record.
Local sandbox testing
When this form is opened on localhost or 127.0.0.1, test registrations are saved only on the computer running the preview. They do not join the public list and no update emails are sent. The local form offers removal of the test registration.
